LEGO®, as everybody knows it as world’s most famous toy, has fascinated children as well as adults for more than 80 years. Originally started in Denmark, it has now become one of the most successful toys in the world. Lego came from the Danish word LEG GODT, meaning, “Play well”. While you are just playing well with these bricks, there is an artist who builds incredible pieces of artwork from LEGO bricks. I am talking about Nathan Sawaya, who has more than 1.5 million colored bricks in his New York art studio. These bricks are used for his mind blowing artworks, which prove that he has discovered LEGO bricks, not as a toy, but rather as a medium. According to him, there are literally no limits to what he can create out of LEGO.
Sawaya’s artwork has been exhibited in many museums. Here, I am presenting collection of his incredible artwork made entirely by LEGO bricks. Hope you will like this. And don’t forget to share your ideas, if you have any!
